Austin’s Madison Overby won the 11-team Hayfield cross country Invite Thursday.

Overby, an eighth grader finished with a time of 15 minutes and 15 seconds to win the 4,000-meter run.

Nate Schwab took third for the Austin boys and the Austin girls took second place as a team.

Sarah Kahle finished 12th and Madeline Kraemer was 14th for Pacelli and Pacelli’s Drew Chapek took 49th in the boys race.
