The Pacelli girls tennis team lost to Winona Cotter 5-1 on the road Tuesday.

The Shamrocks picked up their only win at No. 1 singles, where Abby Leif prevailed 7-5, 3-6 (11-9).

“Abby didn’t have her best tennis today, but she had great willpower, and she did a great job of taking advantage of the things that were working for her,” Pacelli head coach Mark Henderson said. “It’s great to see that mental toughness from a team leader.”

Due to a lack of players by both squads, players played singles and doubles.
