Jolene Therese (Swank) Dalager, 46, of Austin, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, in Austin.

Jolene was born Nov. 25, 1964, in Austin to Paul and Theresa (Amundson) Swank. She graduated from Pacelli High School in 1983. Jolene married Brad Peterson and later divorced. She then married Dan Dalager and later divorced. Jolene was a secretary at Fox Electric, worked at B & J Bar and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Zachary Peterson (special friend, Crystal Andresen), Austin, Nicole Peterson, Austin, Molly Peterson, Austin; former spouses, Brad Peterson, Brownsdale, Dan Dalager, Austin; mother, Theresa Swank, Austin; siblings, Douglas (Christina) Swank, Placitas, N.M., Kevin (Jill) Swank, Austin, Nathan (Shawn) Swank, Austin, Michael (Stacy) Swank, Austin, Debra (Dale) Mullenbach, Austin, Tamara (Scott) Wilson, Austin, Mary (Leo) Niehues, Red Wing, Lisa (Bob) Cummings, Lenexa, KS, Tonja (Randall) King, Red Wing; pets, Koko, Zoe, Babe, Callie.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Swank; nephew, Ryan Swank.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes and Deacon John Kluczny officiating. There will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., and the family will greet friends at a luncheon following the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The honorary casket bearers will be Douglas Swank, Kevin Swank, Nathan Swank, Michael Swank.
