Stuart Behr, 62, of Mankato, died Thursday Oct. 20, 2011. A funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Woodland Hills Chapel. Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. until the time of the service at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel.

Stuart was born Sept. 9, 1949, in Albert Lea to Fred and Margaret (Pistorius) Behr. He attended Glenville High School and in 1969 joined the United States Marine Corp. Stuart worked at Kato Engineering. In his free time he enjoyed NASCAR, watching the Twins, car shows and racing, and was a proud member of Minnesota Street Rod Association and the Last Man Club.

He is survived by daughters: Shauna (Jason) Bohnert of Mankato and Heather Behr of Eagle Lake; grandchildren: Emilianna and Jayden Bohnert of Mankato; brother, Milan (Bonnie) Behr of Elysian; sister, Sharon Cords of Little Canada; and several nieces and nephews.

Stuart is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margaret Behr; and his in-laws, Harold and Martha Klitzke.
