Bruins take down Bobcats

The Austin Bruins picked up a weekend split with the top team in the Central Division when they won 3-0 at Bismarck (9-3 overall) Saturday.

The Bruins (8-5-2 overall) shut down six Bismarck power plays and Nicholas Lehr, who is from Roseville, Minn., made 38 saves in the shutout win.

Colton Kramer put Austin on the board with a goal with 1:54 left in the first period and Nolan Kirley put the game away with a score with 2:07 left in the game. Grant Williams added a shorthanded empty netted score with 47 seconds left in the contest.
