Louise Brown (nee Cawley) 89, of Minneapolis and formerly of Rose Creek, died Oct. 22, 2011.

She was born Oct. 12, 1922. She was employed by Peavey Co. (ConAgra) for many years, and on July 13, 1968, she was united in marriage to Lyle Brown in Minneapolis.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lyle Brown; sisters, Lucena Regan and Margaret Quale; nieces, Kathleen (Denny) Hanson, Mary Lou (Don) Blaeser and Joyce Regan; and nephew, Terrance (Mary) Regan.

She is preceded in death by parents, James and Catherine Cawley; brothers, Patrick, James, Martin and Anthony; sister, Anne Cawley; nephew, James Regan; and mother-in-law, Amy Brown.

Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Assumption Catholic Church, 51 W. Seventh St., St. Paul, with a visitation a half-hour before mass at church. Interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
