Mark Allen Dingley, 56, of Anchorage, Alaska, died Oct. 9, 2011, in Anchorage.

He was born Jan. 31, 1955, in Austin, Minn., to Arleen Louise (Overocker) and Leonard Allen Dingley. He graduated from Austin High School and was a roofer, painter, warehouseman and janitor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and reading.

Survivors include his sisters, Pamela McKibben, Anchorage, Cathy Hill, Omaha, Neb., Lori Northup, Vancouver; brother, Matthew Dingley, Austin; many aunts, uncles, neices and nephews living all over the United States.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Arleen Louise Overocker Dingley; father, Leonard Allen Dingley; grandfather, Willis Bradley Overocker; grandmother, Anna Isabelle Overocker; grandfather, Edward Dingley; grandmother, Zoe Dingley.

Small, graveside services will be held next summer at Woodbury Cemetery. Evergreen Memorial Chapel in Anchorage is in charge of arrangements.
