Austinites will get another visit from Democratic Congressman Tim Walz on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Walz will be in town from 9 to 11:30 a.m. touring habitat projects as part of a Farm Bill Conservation Tour. The tour will depart from the Mower Soil and Water Conservation District Office at 1408 21st Ave. NW in Austin.

According to a news release, Walz will tour the projects with members of Pheasants Forever and the Mower SWCD and see how private landowners can improve habitat, clean up the water and reduce flooding through Farm Bill Conservation programs.
