Baden Scot Christenson

Funeral services for Baden Scot Christenson, of Albert Lea, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. The Rev. Matthew Huntley will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Freeborn Cemetery.
Infant Baden was born Nov. 12, 2011, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester. He struggled with cystic fibrosis and acquired the nickname of “Our Little Warrior.”
Baden is survived by his parents: Scot and Melinda (Jacobsen) Christenson, of Albert Lea; brother, Saxon Christenson; sister, Raine Dana; grandparents: Mary L. Harriman, of Albert Lea, and Ken and Melissa Britzius, of Wells; great-grandparents: Clark and Nancy Jensen, of Freeborn, Bill Bair, of Albert Lea, and Gene Kauffmann, of Wells. There are two great-great-grandmothers; Betty Johannsen, of Freeborn, and Roz Bair, of Mapleton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Christenson; great-great-grandfather Henry Johannsen; and aunt, Rhonda Christenson.
He will be greatly missed by all. “Breathe easy Baden.”
