FIRST TEAM

Setter — Madison Worke, Blooming Prairie

Although she’s just a freshman, Worke didn’t waste any time taking over BP’s offense. She finished the year with 674 assists, 24 kills, 179 digs, 24 ace serves, and 46 blocks. Worke’s most impressive stat may have been that she missed just 10 serves all season as she completed 96.6 percent of her serves.

Setter — Megan Grant, LeRoy/Ostrander

The junior finished with 524 assists, 46 kills, 28 aces and 104 digs for L/O (20-11 overall). She has over 1,000 assists in her career.

Libero — Alyssa Selk, Hayfield

The senior missed the first part of the season with a broken hand, but was able to come back and rack up 180 digs and 289 serve receives for the Vikings (16-12 overall). She finishes her three-year varsity starting career with a Hayfield record of 1,036 digs.

Hitter — Abby Blanchard, Hayfield

The senior was the Vikings’ best passer (387 serve receptions) and hitter (216 kills). She was a three-year starter for Hayfield and had 204 digs, 24 solo blocks and 21 ace serves this past season.

Hitter — Chanda Riedemann, L/O

The senior leads the All-Herald team with 331 kills and she added 54 aces, 82 blocks and 248 digs to lead the Cardinals (20-11 overall).

Hitter — Krista Bunne, L/O

The senior provided plenty of offense (164 kills) and defense (288) for LeRoy/Ostrander. She also had 38 aces.

SECOND TEAM

Setter — Madi Schmitz, Southland

The senior ran the offense and provided some hitting for the Rebels (14-15 overall) as she had 306 assists and 100 kills. She added 169 digs, 26 aces and 44 blocks.

Setter — Autumn Thorsen, Grand Meadow

The junior had 440 assists, 94 aces and 69 digs for the Superlarks (13-13 overall).

Libero — Jessica Jennings, L/O

The junior led L/O with 343 digs and she had 41 ace serves

Hitter — Janelle Morem, Blooming Prairie

The junior was on pace for one of the best seasons in recent history for BP when she suffered an injury halfway through the year. After leaving the lineup in early October, she still finished with 150 kills, 204 digs, 48 aces and 17 blocks. Morem set the school record with 14 aces in a match and she was on pace to break the school record for aces in a season before she was hurt.

Hitter — Celina Yunker, Southland

The senior hitter finished with 155 kills, 291 digs, 25 blocks and 12 ace serves. Yunker also hit on 95.5 percent of her serves.

Hitter — Taylor Hagen, BP

The freshman had a strong debut season as she racked up a team-high 238 kills, while adding 135 blocks, 57 digs and 18 ace serves.

HONORABLE MENTION

Dani Wagner, Hayfield

The sophomore led Hayfield with 40 ace serves and she fell just eight blocks short of the school record with 92. She added 122 kills, 72 serve receives and 103 digs.

Nicole Inwards, BP

The freshman played libero and outside hitter for BP as she had a team-high 297 digs. She added 41 ace serves, hit 95.9 percent of her serves and had 38 kills.

Jenna Krell, Blooming Prairie

The junior was second on BP in kills (199) and digs (250). She hit 92.9 of her serves and tallied 31 blocks.

Kellie Shawback, Southland

The senior had 131 kills, 67 blocks and 22 digs.

Haley Underwood, Austin

The senior racked up 104 kills, 27 ace serves and 47 digs for the Packers (3-18 overall).

Jenna Svoboda, Austin

The junior had 213 assists, 31 ace serves, 23 kills, 22 digs and 17 ace blocks.

Cortney Olson, GM

The junior flourished in her second year as a starter for GM as she finished with 229 kills, 75 digs and 38 aces.

Jana Schammel, Southland

The junior had 113 kills, 10 aces, 29 blocks and 63 digs.
