Charlotte Jean Legried, 87 of Austin, Minn., died Sunday morning, Nov. 20, 2011, at her home in Austin.

She was born July 3, 1924, to Clarence and Ella (Majerus) Olson in Austin, where she grew up and lived her entire life. She married Clayton Legried on Aug. 11, 1946. Charlotte was employed by the Geo. A. Hormel Company for 42 years. She enjoyed shopping — especially at Christmas time — liked to travel and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed the companionship of a dog and always had one in her home. Clayton died in 1974.

Survivors include her children, Deb (Don) Bell of Austin, Steve (Vicki) Legried of Austin, Terry (Nancy) Legried of Austin and Paul (Dana) Legried of Austin; six grandchildren, Tom, Jennifer, Shawn, Jason, Troy and Trevor; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton Legried and her brother, Clarence Olson Jr.

Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with Rev. Colleen Hoeft officiating. Interment will follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery.
