CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information that will lead to the person or persons responsible for shooting two German Shepherds in Clinton Township.
According to a press release, the county 911 Communications Center received a complaint Sunday of the two dogs found shot on Keenan Road.
The dogs had been let out to be put on leashes Saturday night when they ran off. The owner was unsuccessful in locating the dogs that night, and informed law enforcement that she had heard gunshots while searching for them.
The dogs were found dead Sunday morning by the owner.
Deputies responded to the area and interviewed persons believed to have been hunting in the area at the time.
