Paul E. Isaacson, 68, of Mason City, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at his home in Mason City.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the Lunder Lutheran Church, 14982 735th Ave., Albert Lea, with the Rev. Richard Spande officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Lunder Lutheran Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Paul’s name in care of his family.
Paul Elnore Isaacson was born on April 11, 1943, in Albert Lea, the son of Glenn and Harriet (Rasmussen) Isaacson; he was one of seven children. Paul was baptized in the Emmons Lutheran Church and was later confirmed in the Lunder Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed helping others and was always available to assist his elderly neighbors if they were in need. He always cared for and was especially thoughtful of his family.
Paul also enjoyed the outdoors, reading and cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
Those grateful in sharing in his life are his son, Jason (Beth) Isaacson, and their children: Shalin, William, Addie, and Abraham; and his daughter, Angie (Dale) Cheney, and their daughters: Desireé and Emerald; one brother, Ray (Thelma) Isaacson; four sisters: Jean (Orlo) Willmert, Joan (Larry) Beck, Harriet (Denis) Seaton, and Vonnie Dahl; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Underwood and a brother-in-law, Robert Dahl.
