Rose Carol Miller, 71

Rose Carol Miller, 71, of Wells, died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Wells, with the Rev. Thomas Niehaus officiating. Burial will be at St. Casimir Cemetery in Wells. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells and will continue one hour before services at the church on Friday. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is assisting with arrangements.
Rose was born May 19, 1940, to William and Martha (Dulas) Klocek in Wells. She graduated from Wells High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to Gary Miller on April 28, 1959, in Wells. She worked at F.M. Stamper’s for 10 years, at Frank’s Farm gathering eggs, and at Telex in Blue Earth 5 years. She also did cleaning in homes and doctors’ offices. She enjoyed canning, cooking, baking, working on her flower garden and yard, playing cards, and most of all, she enjoyed her family.
Rose is survived by her son, Jim, and his wife, Penny Miller of Wells; grandson, Cory Miller; sisters and brothers: Angie Sauer, Evelyn (Don) Strauser, Alex (Ann) Klocek, Louis (Jan) Klocek, Beatrice Rasmussen, Matt (Vi) Klocek, Janice (LeRoy) Puckett and Ken Klocek; siblings-in-law: Linda Klocek, Sharon (Bob) Mandel and Ronald (Angie) Miller; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; a daughter in infancy; her parents, William and Martha Klocek; mother and father-in-law, Arlette and George Miller; brothers: Hubert Klocek and Adrian (Darlene) Klocek; sister, Leona Staloch; brothers-in-law: Stanley Sauer and Helmer Rasmussen; sister-in-law, Phyllis Klocek; and great niece, Kendra Puckett.
