Nancy Dorine Theobald (McGee), 75, of Adams, Minn., died peacefully Monday afternoon, Dec. 26, 2011, at St. Anthony Health Care Center in St. Anthony, Minn.

She was born March 11, 1936, in Austin, Minn., to Emmett and Doris (Palmer) McGee. Nancy graduated from high school in Adams in 1954. On May 19, 1956, she married Lawrence “Tex” Theobald.

Nancy worked with Elementary students in the Southland School District. She enjoyed gardening, singing, and was a passionate artist. Her life was filled with loving her husband, children, and grandchildren and being a wonderful daughter and sister to her family and in-laws.

Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sharon Theobald, of Haverhill, Mass.; daughters, Julie Theobald of New Brighton, Minn.; Joy Theobald of New Brighton; son and daughter-in-law, Scott Theobald and Bridgette Soutiea, of Longmont, Colo.; son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Jill Theobald, of Fridley, Minn.; son, Steve Theobald of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Grant Vaith and his wife Michelle, of Minneapolis; Courtney Vaith of Minneapolis and Hayden Theobald, of Longmont.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; parents and siblings, Rita, Mercedes, Charles, Gerald and Jacqueline.

Funeral services will be 11a.m. Friday, Dec., 30, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, with Father Thomas Loomis officiating. Interment will be at a future date in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at the Adams Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. prayer service, and Friday from 10 to 11a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
