The Austin gymnastics team put up another season-high score as they finished in first place at the Stewartville Invite Saturday.

The Packers finished with a score of 139.85 and the Austin JV team took second with a score of 123.95, finishing ahead of three varsity squads.

“We’re really growing together and when you can have a meet where everybody has some success, that’s a good thing,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “We’re really deep from one to ten, not just one to five. We’ve used several different lineups and our score keeps getting better.”

Austin had the top four gymnasts in the bars, beam and floor and the top five gymnasts in the vault.

Sela Fadness, Abby Bickler and Carolyn Hackle all finished in the top-three in All-Around competition.
