A LeRoy couple came home Saturday to find their house was broken into and more than $2,000 worth of belongings were taken, according to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May.
May said the 27-year-old man and 25-year-old woman returned to their home in the 200 block of East Cabot Street in LeRoy around 10 p.m. Saturday to find the side garage door open with pry marks on it.
The couple told police the missing items included a laptop computer, jewelry box, Xbox 360, SD memory cards, around 100 CDs, a Milwaukee tool kit and $1,065 cash.
The total value of the missing items is at least $2,200, May said.
Mower County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the incident. There are no suspects, according to May.
