Memorial services for Donna M. Bothun will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at the Grand Meadow Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ann Siverling officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the church. Donna M. Bothun, 65, of Grand Meadow, died Monday morning, Jan. 30, at her home, following a five-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Donna was born March 28, 1946, to Norman and Charlotte (Mayland) Borgen in La Crosse, Wis. She attended and graduated from Lanesboro High School and was united in marriage to Richard Bothun on April 11, 1964, in Kasson, Minn., and together they had three children, Debby, Chad and Jolene. Donna worked for First Farmers and Merchants State Bank of Grand Meadow for more than 25 years, serving as a loan officer and bank vice-president. She enjoyed reading, movies, shopping and was an avid fan of Notre Dame, making it to many games over the years, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grand-children.

Donna is survived by her husband, Richard Bothun of Grand Meadow and children, Debby (Jason) Anderson of Roseau, Minn., Chad (Jenny) Bothun of Osceola, Ind., and Jolene (Rob) Ramler of Rochester, Minn., six grandchildren, Mitchell, Ryan, McKenzie, Taryn, Tayla, and Tiegan and three step-grandchildren, Keyara, Tristian, and McKenna. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Diane.
