The Austin Elks Lodge No. 114 held its “hoop shoot” contest at Austin High School Jan. 8.

Abby Lewis of Banfield Elementary took first place for 10-11 year-old girls, Jordan Wilson of Banfield Elementary took first for 8-9 year-old boys, Nicole Justice of Banfield Elementary took first for 8-9 year-old girls, Trey Martinson of Southgate Elementary took first place for 10-11 year-old boys and Tara Watkins of Ellis Middle School took first place for 12-13 year old girls.

These students will compete at the district contest in Pacelli High School Jan. 22.
