Kristine S. Dominguez, 43, of Blooming Prairie, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at her home in Blooming Prairie.
Kristine Sophia Mork was born March 31, 1968, in Center City, Minn., to William and Berdean (Hussey) Mork. She grew up in Northfield and graduated from Northfield High School in 1986. Kristine married Daniel Wroblewski in 1986, and the couple had three children, Jessica, Amanda, and Aaron. They later divorced. Her second marriage was to Ronald Richardson. They had one son, Nicholas, and were later divorced. On June 2, 2009, Kristine and Guillermo Dominguez were married in Owatonna. She was a homemaker all of her life. She loved music, especially singing. Kristine took great pleasure in spending time with her family and granddaughter Cecelia. Kristine was a vibrant woman and will always be remembered for her warm smile.
Survivors include her husband, Guillermo Dominguez, Blooming Prairie; children, Jessica Wroblewski and Aaron Wroblewski, both of Austin, Amanda Wroblewski, Savage, Nicholas Richardson, Blooming Prairie; parents: William Mork of Pleasant, and Berdean Hussey, Northfield; grandchild: Cecelia; siblings: Suzie Marie Mork, Denver, Colo., Mike (Becky) Behrens, Northfield, Larry (Val) Behrens, Welch, Sherry Behrens, Northfield, Pat Behrens, Paris, Ken.; mother-in-law: Adela Dominguez; stepchildren: Nancy Gonzales and Richard Dominguez, both of Blooming Prairie, and Mario Dominguez, Plainview, Texas; step-grandchildren: Angela Cook, Abygail Gonzales, Richard Gonzales Jr., Alyssa Gonzales; many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her cousin, Dwain Behrens and mother-in-law, Gloria Storlie.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at the Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Blooming Prairie Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
