The Austin boys hockey team snapped a nine-game losing streak and picked up its first Big Nine win of the year when it beat Mankato East (3-16 overall, 1-7 Big Nine) 6-1 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Ethan Larson and Marcus Stoulil each had four points for the Packers (4-15 overall, 1-9 Big Nine), who held a 48-23 shot advantage.

Rainer Londino-Green had 23 saves for the Packers.
