Memorial services for Scott D. Hendrickson will be 1 p.m. on Friday January 6, 2012 at the LeRoy Lutheran Church with the Rev Rolf Wangberg officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Scott Douglas Hendrickson, 36, of LeRoy died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.

He was born Dec. 28, 1975, in Spring Valley to Doug and Linda (Osland) Hendrickson. He attended and graduated from LeRoy Ostrander High School in 1994. Scott was currently employed at McNeilus Truck Manufacturing as a fabricator and welder. Scotty always had the gift of gab, he loved to talk and visit with people. He loved to ride motorcycle, lived life for his kids, family and friends and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, music and spending time with friends and family. Scotty was a very caring and generous person always going the extra mile for others.

Scotty is survived by his children, Grace Miller and Nolan Hendrickson, both of LeRoy; his parents, Doug and Linda Hendrickson, of LeRoy; a sister Casey (Greg) Hart and their children Cody and Dani Jo, all of Lime Springs; his grandmother; Floy Hendrickson, of LeRoy; and his aunts and uncles: Melvin (Dotty) Hendrickson, of Rochester; Jim (Margaret) Osland, of Eagan; JoAnn (Harold) Shipman, of LeRoy; Rhonda (John) Adams, of Peterson; Mary (Rodney) Kiefer, of Sargeant; and Ronnie Osland of LeRoy. He is also survived by many cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Orvin and Ruth Osland and paternal grandfather Glenn Hendrickson.
