ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Austin Bruins moved three points ahead of fourth place Aberdeen (24-19-6 overall) when they won 3-2 on the road Friday.
Jonathan Gehrt and John Simonson each scored second period powerplay goals to give Austin (26-15-5 overall) a 3-1 lead.
Nicholas Lehr stopped 37 saves in net for the Bruins.
