CALEDONIA — Goliath Oboyo scored 16 points as the Austin boys basketball team held off Caledonia (15-11 overall) 55-50 on the road Saturday.

Oboyo hit a runner with one minute left to give the Packers (19-5 overall) a 50-48 lead with a minute left. Nate Schwab added a free throw to make it 51-48 and Zach Wessels hit two free throws to make it 53-48.

Tom Aase had 14 points and 13 rebounds for Austin.

“Tom was really a force inside for us in the second half. He and Oboyo kind of saved the day for us,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “It was definitely a hard fought win.”
