The Southland girls basketball team used a big first half run to put away Lyle-Pacelli in an 86-51 win in Lyle Thursday.
The Athletics (11-6 overall) trailed by just 10 points late in the first half, but guards Ann Rysavy and Courtney Walter got into foul trouble and the Rebels (16-2 overall) went on to take a 50-27 lead into the break.
“They’ve got older girls and more depth and that was the difference in the game,” LP head coach Brad Walter said.
