GRAND MEADOW — The No. 7 seeded Grand Meadow boys basketball team held of No. 10 LeRoy-Ostrander (2-25 overall) 68-52 in a Section 1A East Division play-in game in GM Tuesday.
Freshman Landon Jacobson scored 15 points for the Superlarks (9-17 overall).
“We knew going into this game if we didn’t play well that we would be in for a tough game,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said. “L-O did a good job of getting back into the game after we built a bit of the lead but the changing point came in the second half when we switched defenses and it really seemed to swing the momentum back in our favor.”
GM will play at No. 2 Spring Grove (23-2 overall) Thursday at 7 p.m.
