The Riverland women’s basketball team couldn’t hold on to a lead in a 71-66 loss to Rochester Community and Technical College in Riverland Gym Saturday.

The Blue Devils (12-12 overall, 3-6 MCAC South) led by eight points with five minutes to go in the game, but RCTC pulled away late.

“We had some untimely fouls down the stretch and they just had the momentum at the end of the game,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.

Rebekah Aase had 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead RCC.
