Bruins win seventh straight game

MINOT, N.D. — Austin goalie Nicholas Lehr picked up his seventh win of the season when he stopped 20 shots in a 3-1 Bruins win over Minot on the road Friday.
White Bear Lake native Charlie Adams posted a point for the sixth straight game when he put the Bruins up 1-0 with a first period powerplay goal.
John Simonson and Colton Kramer added second period goals for insurance and the Minotauros attempted just three shots on goal in the third period.
Simonson now has 14 goals on the season.
Lehr, who is from Roseville, Minn., has now won his last four decisions and his season save percentage is 92.5.
Austin (30-15-5 overall) has now won all 10 matchups with Minot (5-44 overall) and it will take a seven-game winning streak into Saturday’s game at Bismarck (41-9-2 overall).
