The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team swept Mabel-Canton (0-3 overall, 0-3 SEC) by scores of 6-0 and 6-1 at the Riverland Complex Thursday.

LP freshman Jordan Hart struck out seven in six shutout innings in the opener and LP eighth grader Daniel Bollingberg struck out 10 in six shutout innings in the nightcap.

“They were both solid tonight and we had good defense behind them,” LP head coach Brock Nelson said of his hurlers. “We’re not going to ten-run too many teams, so we need good pitching and good defense.”
