Two Austin men are in the Mower County jail after they allegedly tried to obtain the drug hydrocodone by using a false doctor’s prescription.

Police arrested Juan Irlas, 39, and Anthony Ledoux, 30, after they allegedly provided pharmacists at the Austin Walgreens with a fake prescription for the pain killer. According to Austin Police Cpt. Dave McKichan, police arrested Ledoux at Walgreens after employees reported the fraud. Irlas was not present at that time; however, the report states that he allegedly fabricated the prescription.

Ledoux was also cited for a controlled substance DWI.
