Weston DeBoer, a 2009 graduate of Lyle High School and a Riverland Community College alumnus, entered the Army National Guard in 2011 and just started his Basic Combat Training at Ft Jackson, S.C.

He graduated and started his advanced individual training for (15Q) Air Traffic Controller at Ft Rucker, Ala. Weston was awarded Distinguished Honor Graduate for his class and will now move on to Airborne School at Ft Benning, Ga. and return to Minnesota for duty upon completion.
