STEWARTVILLE — The Austin Packers girls golf team fought cold and difficult conditions Friday to finish in the middle of a triangular with Stewartville and Byron.

Stewartville landed on top with a 361 while Austin was second with an even 400. Byron was third with 407.

“I’m pretty happy with our scores considering the conditions,” coach Erik LaRock said. “It was cold, windy and rainy.”

Caitlyn Stanley was Austin’s top golfer on the day with a 95, followed closely by Lauren Stasi who shot a 98.

Steph Justice and Shannon Stutzman hit 103 and 104 respectively and Katie Maxa shot a 132.
