Alice Mae McAfee, 82, of Roseville, Minn. died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Arden Hills, Minn.

Alice was born Aug. 8, 1929, in Wilmar, Minn. to Roy Samingson and Mae Hermanson. She married Alfred C. McAfee Jr. and worked as an administrative assistant for the government.

Alice is survived by her husband, Al McAfee of Roseville; daughter, Sue (Mike) Elle; daughter in-in-law, Betsy McAfee; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark McAfee.

A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 20 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home, 2130 N. Dale St., Roseville and also at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 21 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1465 N. Victoria St., St. Paul, Minn., with the Rev. Hans Jorgensen officiating. Interment will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville.
