Beverly Ann Turner, 80, of Austin, Minn. died Monday morning, May 21, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

She was born June 25, 1931, to Erling and Amelia (Midge) Stundahl in Oakland, Minn. After attending Moscow School in Freeborn County, Beverly worked at St. Olaf Hospital in the kitchen. She married Donald Dee Turner on Sept. 16, 1950, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. They moved to Texas where Bev worked at the PX while Don was in the service. After Don’s discharge, they returned to Austin where Bev was a homemaker and mother of two. Later she worked at JC Penney where she retired. She enjoyed reading and trips to the casino.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; a daughter, Deborah Christofferson of Owatonna, Minn.; a son, Donald (Patty) Turner of Afton, Minn.; three grandchildren, Beth (Matt) Kunkel of Mankato, Jesse and Cody Christofferson of Owatonna; two sisters, Merlene Smith of Rochester and Sandra (Bill) Knopf of Rochester; four sisters-in-law, Joyce Stundahl, Shirley Stundahl, Rose Stundahl and Georgia Nelson, all of Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Everett, Melvin and Duane Stundahl; her mother-in-law, Anna Turner; brothers-in-law Don Nelson, Lloyd Gaul, Charlie Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor William Odermann officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
