The Austin Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for entry to this year’s Freedom Fest Parade. The parade takes place 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, at 11 a.m.

The deadline to enter is Friday. Those interested can complete a request form and return to the Chamber. The fee for chamber members is $75. Non-members and commercial entries, which covers all advertising and businesses including non-profits, can enter for $100.

The parade committee reserves the right to accept or decline applications. Festival sponsors may receive a discount of up to 100 percent. Area civic organizations and churches are no charge. The chamber will not consider entries unless payment and a copy of insurance is submitted prior to June 15.
