Marjorie Leone Geraghty Voecks, 84, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, in San Jose, Calif.

She was born in St. Peter, Minn., July 26, 1927. Marjorie graduated and was Homecoming Queen at Austin High School in 1945, and earned her Nursing Degree at Chicago Hospital. After retirement Marge and Floyd moved to Goodyear, Ariz. in May 1998. In August 2012 Marge moved back to San Jose, Calif. to be near her family.

Marge was a master bridge player. She really enjoyed playing bridge and mahjong with her friends at Pebblecreek in Arizona. She was the ultimate hostess and loved having guests over to her home, especially for St. Patrick’s Day. She was very proud of her Irish heritage.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Voecks; father, Thomas Geraghty; mother, Edna Geraghty; and brothers, Maurice, Edmond, Patrick and Michael.

She is survived by her son, Steven (Sharon) Voecks; daughter, Pamela (Greg) Gaan; three grandchildren, Robert (Kechina) Edwards, Christine (Brad) Hanson and Sandra (Jon) McNair; and four great-grandchildren, Harmony, Declan, Phoebe and Lilly.

Marge will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Austin, Minn. The date is to be determined.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
