Photographer Thomas Keller grew up in Austin, one of five sons born to Clifford and Charlotte Keller.

He graduated from Austin High School in 1967 and has been photographing nature for more than 20 years.

Gradually, Thomas has added more “macro photography” to his portfolio.

It is a unique technique which uses a specialized lens for extreme close-ups.

“Landscape and nature photography is capturing, through the camera lens, the fleeting uniqueness and beauty of our living world.  It is fleeting because it is so quick to change,” Thomas said.

He has displayed and sold work in Door County. Now being semi-retired, he is planning to have more outlets to show his work.
