A private party notice of claim has been brought against the city of Austin from action that officers took on Nov. 11, 2011, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

The notice of claim was issued on May 14; however, Krueger would not release any specifics about the issue, in which officers were responding to a medical in southwest Austin in November. According to Krueger, officers acted appropriately; and he said, “This will be evident when facts come out.”

Krueger said because of pending litigation, that is all he can say at this time.
