The second of four suspects in a February burglary has been convicted in Mower County Court.
Kyler Morehouse, 20, was convicted Friday of second-degree aggravated robbery and sentenced to 15 years’ supervised probation and 80 hours of community service. He was also re-sentenced on a conviction for fourth-degree assault of a peace officer from last year, for which he will serve 90 more days in jail.
Morehouse and the other men burglarized a home at the 400 block of Second Ave. SW on Feb. 26. Victims say the four men broke into the house, repeatedly punched and hit two girls younger than 18 and a 19-year-old man, and stole several cell phones and a 32-inch TV, according to the court complaints.
Harley Becker, 19, of Brownsdale, was convicted in the same case last week and sent to nearly three years in prison. The other suspects, Nestor Valle and Jordan Cox, have yet to be sentenced.
