Three Austin men with outstanding warrants were taken to the Mower County jail Tuesday after officers received an anonymous tip that the men were all at one home.
According to a police report, three or four officers arrived at a residence on the 400 block of Fourth Street SW around 1:15 p.m. after receiving the call. The men each had outstanding warrants: Mark Phutseevong, 25, for aiding and abetting/dangerous weapon/drive-by shooting in Olmsted County; Eric Phutseevong, 28, for driving after revocation; and Syron Carter, 19, for criminal damage to property.
The men were allegedly hiding in the home when officers arrived, but did not otherwise resist arrest. All were taken to jail, where Mark Phutseevong is being held without bail. Police did not know the bail status of the other two men.
