47-year-old allegedly brings marijuana to probation check-in

An Austin resident allegedly showed up at his corrections meeting carrying a small amount of marijuana.
Anthony Bynum, 47, showed up to a corrections meeting at 9:56 a.m. Monday. According to the complaint, he was checking in with a probation agent, who searched him and found what appeared to be marijuana. Bynum allegedly said someone had asked him to hold it for that person.
The substance was tested and came back positive for marijuana, the complaint said.
Bynum was previously convicted of speeding in Freeborn County in May and fifth degree drug possession of marijuana in June 2006.
