Ella B. Marlowe, 92, of Albert Lea, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at St John’s Lutheran Home in Albert Lea.

Ella was born Nov. 10, 1919, near Leland, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Bracke) Lea. She was a graduate of high school in Leland, Iowa.

Ella was a resident of Freeborn County for many years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading in her free time.

Ella is survived by her brother Marlin (Wilma) Lea of Sacramento, Calif., sisters: Avis Asleson of Medford, Ore., and Gladys Miller of Sacramento, Calif.. Also surviving is nephew Jerry (Vicki) Linde of Albert Lea and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ervin and Jacob Lea; sisters: Katheryn Searls and Thelma Linde.
