Blue Sox lock up No. 3 seed with a win

ROSEMOUNT — Cody Meyer pitched eight scorless innings and the Austin Blue Sox locked up the No. 3 seed in the Section 4B playoffs as they beat Rosemount 6-0 on the road Saturday.
The Blue Sox (14-15 overall) will now play the No. 2 Rochester Royals in Mayo Field Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the first round of the Section 4B tournament.
Kyal Williams went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer and two RBIs in Saturday’s win for Austin.
