Since debuting on the Southgate Elementary School stage in third grade as Ah-choo the mouse, Donovan Germain has been performing regularly throughout his musical career.

A combination of band, choir, and musicals composed his middle and high school years, as well as his time at Riverland Community College.

Upon completing his degree in Vocal Music Education at Winona State University, Donovan continued to perform in musicals, as well as co-founding the vocal band Up ’til 2. This a cappella group has won numerous awards at music competitions and has performed around the area for the past 6 years.

Currently, Donovan is performing full-time for Celebrity Cruise lines with Up ’til 2. Upon finishing his performance contract aboard the Celebrity Summit on Aug. 19, he will embark on his next performing contract onboard the Celebrity Eclipse in November, which visits the Caribbean and Europe.

While aboard the cruise ship, Donovan has been writing original music for voice and guitar.

He will debut some of this original music, along with some of his favorite songs from Garth Brooks, Billy Joel, folk-singer Donovan, and a few others at the Austin ArtWorks Festival this Aug. 25 and 26.
