Blossoms win Southland volleyball invite

ADAMS — The Blooming Prairie volleyball team beat Kingsland in the eight-team Southland tournament title game by scores of 25-12, 25-15, 15-6 in Adams Saturday.
“The team is really starting to gel, and even when we hit some adversity, we found ways to problem solve together,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “It was nice to see the girls come away winners.”
The Awesome Blossoms (11-3 overall) went unbeaten in tournament play as they beat Kingsland 25-22, 16-25, 15-9, beat Plainview-Elgin-Millville 23-25, 25-19, 15-10 and topped Lyle-Paeclli 25-8, 25-18, 15-9.
