The local Izaak Walton League is ready for another steak cookout and fundraiser next Wednesday.

The cookout begins at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3 at Todd Park’s cabin and is $12 to attend. Each ticket is good for a 10-ounce sirloin steak, baked potato, coleslaw, bun and fresh vegetables. A $100 door prize will be given away at this event, as well.

Steak cookouts are the main fundraising events for the Austin Chapter of the Izaak Walton League. Funds go toward conservation projects and environmental education for area students.
