A Saturday car versus motorcycle accident put one man in the hospital.

According to the police report, Nathan Downey, 21, was heading south on 10th Street SW near 11th Avenue when he collided with Alex Peterson, 35, who was heading east on 11th Avenue on his 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle.

Gold Cross took Peterson to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin to treat him for multiple scrapes and cuts on his arms and legs. Peterson was also cited for no insurance on his motorcycle.
