Packer bowlers post a 290 as they win 9 of 10

The Packer bowling team won of its nine ten games and it posted a score of 290 in one of its games as it beat Red Wing and Stewartville in Echo Lanes Saturday.
The Packers (5-3 overall) moved into a first place tie in the conference standings.
Austin scored over 200 in every game against Stewartville and it hit on 11 strikes a row in the game where it scored 290. Austin averaged 235.6 points per game as it swept Stewartville. The Packers, who won nine of the 10 games they played Saturday, set team records for scoring and fill completions in the win over Stewartville.
“We turned in our best performance of the season by far against Stewartville,” Austin head coach Jim Juenger said. “After struggling for most of the first half of the season, what a difference coming home made for us.”
Austin had lost to Stewartville and Red Wing earlier this season.
