Patricia Ann (Kamp) Schaefer, age 67, of Austin, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Pat was born Feb. 23, 1945. in Austin, Minn. to Vernon and Mildred Kamp.  On Feb. 24, 1968 she was united in marriage to Bernard Schaefer in Austin.  She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and Women of the Moose.

Survivors include her husband, Bernard Schaefer, Rochester, MN; siblings, Joyce (Cliff) Carlson, Minneapolis, MN, Jean Thompson, Forest City, Iowa, Marjorie Distad, Albert Lea, Minn, Charles Kamp, Hooks, Texas, Rita (Arnie) Earl, Austin, Minn., Linda (Jerry) Meyer, Menomonie, Wis., Karen (John) Torvik, Sioux Falls, S.D., Deb (Leonard) Wood, Owatonna, Minn., Thomas Kamp, Austin, Minn., Keith Kamp, Austin, Minn., Scott (Denise) Kamp, Austin, Minn.; sisters-in-law, Virginia, Jeri, and Mary Kamp, Helen Sershen; brothers-in-law, Sy and Wilfred Schaefer; nieces and nephews including a special niece, Nancy King; a special nephew, Mike Whalen.

She is preceded in death by six brothers, Roger, Laverne, David, Douglas, Ricky, and Raymond; a sister, Joanne; parents, Vernon and Mildred Kamp; a very special aunt and uncle, Loraine and Nick Leachman.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor David Fleischmann officiating.  Friends may call one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.  Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The casket bearers will be Mike Whalen, Ted Schlichter, Nick Danley, Randy Sershen, Scott Kamp, and Bruce Kamp.
