Elizabeth “Betty” Chihak Whalen, 95, of Austin, Minn., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Sacred Heart Health Care in Austin.

Service: A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with Father James Steffes presiding.

Visitation: There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to services, and on Friday, Oct. 26 at Mayer Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. with the rosary recited at 4 p.m.

Interment: Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Austin.

Funeral Home: Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: The family of Betty Whalen suggests memorial contributions to St. Augustine Church.
